Writing My Story – The Memoir That’s Been Waiting Inside Me

Writing My Story: The Book That’s Been Waiting Inside Me

There comes a point in life when you just can’t keep your story buried anymore. The memories start pressing harder, the truth gets louder, and you realize — you’ve spent your whole life surviving, but never actually telling it.

That’s where I am right now. I’ve started writing my book. Not fiction, not fantasy — the real story of my life. The things I’ve lived through, fought through, and somehow came out the other side of.

It’s gritty. It’s painful. It’s honest. And it’s mine.

I’ve carried the weight of my childhood, my trauma, and all those years of silence long enough. Writing this book feels like finally cutting the rope that’s kept me tied to the past. Some nights it feels freeing. Other nights it feels like bleeding on paper. But I know it’s time.

This isn’t about revenge or pity — it’s about truth, healing, and showing what survival really looks like behind the curtain. The kind of truth that’ll make some people uncomfortable. The kind that reminds others they aren’t crazy, broken, or alone.

I don’t know when I’ll be ready to share the title or the release date — but when I do, it’ll hit hard. Because this story isn’t just mine anymore. It’s for every soul who’s ever been through hell and kept walking anyway.

So stay tuned. What’s coming next is the most personal, painful, and powerful thing I’ve ever written.

I’m Stacy, the woman behind Sincere Scribbles — a space where real life meets real roots. I write it like it is: homestead updates, honest recipes, raw reflections, and all the scribbles in between. No fluff, no sugarcoating, just everyday living with heart, grit, and a little Southern soul.
