Tropical Glow Acai Bowl – Creamy, Crunchy, and Sunshine in a Spoon
There’s just something about a smoothie bowl that feels like a little vacation in your own kitchen. This one — my Tropical Glow Acai Bowl — hits all the right notes: rich, creamy, fruity, and full of that fresh island flavor that makes you forget the day’s chaos for a minute.
I threw together frozen avocado, bananas, strawberries, peaches, apricots, and a scoop of acai berry powder. That blend alone tastes like sunshine and coconut dreams. Once it’s smooth, I top it off with sliced bananas, granola, and a sprinkle of roasted hemp and flax seeds.
Now let me warn you: don’t eat hemp seeds raw. I tried that once — and never again. Roast those bad boys first. It makes all the difference. They go from “hard to chew” to perfectly toasty and nutty.
This bowl is everything you want when you’re craving something sweet but still want to feel good about what’s in it. Whether it’s breakfast, a post-workout snack, or a late-night treat, it’s a solid go-to that’ll have you glowing from the inside out.

Tropical Glow Acai Smoothie Bowl Recipe
Equipment
- 1 blender
- 3 small bowls
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup frozen avocado
- 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup frozen bananas
- 1/4 cup canned apricots (drained)
- 1/2 cup frozen peaches
- 1 cup of ice
- 3 tbsp acai berry powder
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup granola of choice
- 1 small sliced banana (for topping)
- 1 tbsp roasted hemp seeds (do not use raw — trust me)
- 1 tsp roasted flax seeds
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the frozen avocado, strawberries, bananas, apricots, peaches, ice, acai berry powder, coconut milk, and honey.
- Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Pour into a chilled bowl and smooth the top.
- Add sliced bananas across the top.
- Sprinkle with roasted hemp seeds, roasted flax seeds, and granola.
- Drizzle a little extra honey if you like it sweeter.
Notes
Roast your hemp seeds in a 375 degree oven for about 10 -15 minutes, stirring often until lightly golden and nutty. It brings out their flavor and crunch — and keeps you from biting into that raw chewy bitterness.
