Sometimes the universe just drops a deal in your lap when you least expect it. On October 8th, I had to drive to Clarksville, Tennessee, for my very first pain clinic appointment. Normally, I wouldn’t be too thrilled about that kind of trip, but this one turned into a win.
After my appointment, I decided to make a quick stop at one of my favorite bargain spots — and let me tell you, I hit the jackpot. Sitting right there on the shelf were three boxes of the most gorgeous white mosaic wall tiles I’ve ever seen.
Now here’s where it gets good: I looked these exact tiles up on Lowe’s later that night. Their regular price? $12.98 each. Not per box — per tile! And me? I snagged all 27 of them for $1 each. Yep, just twenty-seven bucks total.
That’s a savings of over $12 per tile — which means I saved around $284.52 off the regular price. That’s the kind of bargain that makes you wanna do a happy dance right there in the store aisle.
So for $27, I walked out with three boxes of stunning white mosaic wall tiles that are about to take my shower tiling project up a notch. The best part? They’re neutral enough to mix and match with other styles I’ve been collecting. I’m not afraid to piece a few different tile patterns together — that’s how you make your space your own.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned while building this little homestead, it’s that you can absolutely build or remodel on a budget. You just have to know where to look, keep your eyes open for deals, and not be scared to get creative with your materials.
Next month when I go back to Clarksville for my follow-up appointment, you better believe I’m stopping back by that same store. You never know what treasures are waiting for a buck a piece.
